Tales of a Yachting Photographer

Kathy Mansfield has been photographing and writing about classic and traditional yachts for the last 15 years, and has many tales to tell about her experiences. There will be beautiful and inspiring images of J Class and Metre yachts and topsail schooners.

Saturday Art Club

These sessions led by local artist Noelle Schrieber are designed to develop basic skills in drawing and painting using the museum collections. They are also ideally suited for GCSE students gathering research for exam projects byselecting objects not normally on general view. Refreshments and materials will be provided.
Ages 12 - 16, 10am - 12pm or 1pm - 3pm £8 per session or £12 per day.

Store Tours - Crime and Punishment

Sunday 14 September
Join us for a tour behind the scenes of our South Reading store, looking at and handling some of the historic objects not usually on display on the museum. We will be highlighting objects related to crime and punishment, including mantraps, acient weapons and 'illicit' materials! Tours are in small groups led by museum staff, and will last around 45 minutes.
Families (not suitable for children in pushchairs) 11am - 3.45pm (last tour 3pm)
