LETTER SEAL STAMP OF READING CATTLE COMPANY, LATE 19TH CENTURY

This is the letter seal stamp of the Reading Cattle Market Company which was established in 1850. The company’s cattle market in Great Knollys Street replaced the unsanitary and hazardous livestock market held in Reading Market Place.
