CERAMIC PLATE FROM INDIA

This plate was made in Bombay and was exhibited in the prestigious Indian and Colonial Exhibition held in London in 1886. It was made for display and features a courtly hunting scene complete with musicians. It is part of the collections of ceramics looked after by Reading Museum Service.
